Fair do's......dont like his stuff myself but I ain't at the point of going on a message board and whining mi t!ts off about it ..........sithi.
But you've reached the point of going on a message board to whine about other folk whining? Ok, guy...
If that's your reaction to something you don't hate I'd love to see how you react to something you do actually hate.
Not sure why this would irritate you so much. I did make the effort to try and understand what he was saying but failed. No doubt it’s similar to my Dad’s view of Clapton, Zappa and King Crimson from my youth.
I was working all weekend but watched most of his set on iPlayer yesterday out of curiosity. I'm not a great fan of his music (of that genre I prefer Skepta, Wiley, Dizzee Rascal for personal taste). He put on a great show to be fair & it's good to see him having something to say in his music, unlike most of the bland acts on the main stage, like George Ezra. Too much modern chart music offers very little in the way of social comment. He was much better than the arrogant, unthought out show that Kanye West put on a few years back. He's never going to appeal massively to over 50's, like me, but that isn't really his audience. If you don't like him, there is loads of great music about. For me he earned his headline slot, and has given people something to talk about.
