    I agree with you, I don't think it varies that much. We know from bitter experience just how unforgiving this league can be. Players/squads that excel in the league below get beaten week in, week out in the championship. The losses become relentless. We're doing better this season because our squad is better, because we have players who have Championship games under their belt, not because the league is any weaker.

    All this highlights is how much of a nonsense parachute payments are. A reward for failure.
