Mccarthy should've defended better i agree. But as he is a defender so Jose was justified in his decision. Was it Jose's fault that davies didn't do his job either?

 

He was in the right back position for the goal. He’s also played right wing and right wing back before so that was not an issue. He was suited to that position but the fact he’s not good enough let us down. Jose trusted him and I doubt he will again after that.
