Right. At a cost we can afford, clearly.

Agree redstar, let's do to Wigan like they did to us.I Reckon Boggle would be a good partner for Bradshaw, offer around 500 grand for Boggle and perhaps 7 grand a week wages.Surely that's within our capabilities ?

My lad and his wife and kids have booked a holiday home at Whitby. It overlooks Whitby Towns ground.
There's a game on there tonight Celtic v Newcastle. Celtic took the lead in the first half but Newcastles
Ivan Toney has scored two in quick succession to put the Mags in front. My son ( who is a Red) says Ivan is looking really sharp. Would it be worth our while bringing him back on loan even if it was to only for him to try to have an impact
from the bench, or do we think he wouldn't be able to do it at Championship level.?

I haven't heard anyone mention Louis Rowe. One of our own. Was knocking them in for fun last season for U23 side. Could he be integrated?

Champions league in 3 years here we come.

I made some comment about our aim being mid table and for some reason you've jumped all over it making out we should be pushing for the league.

Dunno why you've decided to pull out that one sentence from three paragraphs about needing a striker.

We're on our way, we're on our way..

Bogle is the sort of choice we may be left with. If we had scouted him and wanted him back in January, what has changed? Right age profile and right type of player for what we lack. Proven goal=scoring record at League Two level. We could do worse, but at what cost? Not worth more than we would have been prepared to offer Grimsby back in January. Another one? Lee Erwin - just freed himself from his contract at Leeds following ten goals from twenty-six starts at Oldham. Not quite the proven level we are after, but he's free, lives in Yorkshire already and is the right age profile. You tube suggests he may struggle at Championship level. What happened to Godden at Stevenage? Not moved anywhere over the close season. Any others are looking like Premiership loanees. Probably won't have heard of any of them.

Another one who will be going out on loan - Sam Gallagher - best of the lot and spot on for what we need. He was being connected with a number of Championship clubs after his success with Blackburn. I think we may be beaten to his loan signature, as Birmingham City and others are in for him, but he might be influenced by McCarthy and Isgrove, who were both with him at Saints.

He would be my number 1 choice at the moment I think but as you say we are likely to be beaten to it. We could stand a chance maybe if Izzy and McCarthy can persuade him though
