This has quickly become the Rajczi thread. In my opinion I thought he was impressive - he played well with Ferenczi, he showed a good deal of pace (which is always a major positive to carry up front and gives you that little bit extra on the break), his passing is good and his team work is excellent. As a character he seems to have had a really positive impact on the club and the team - we turned a corner when he and Ferenczi arrived, reignited the enthusiasm, brought back the belief and dedication. I think there is more to come from him. It's difficult because, in comparison to Ferenczi (who arrived banging in goal after goal) maybe Rajczi doesn't look quite as impressive - but he's a different kind of player, and judged on his own merits, I'd like to see him stay at the club. If he doesn't come back to us I'd like to say a big thank you to him. It can't be easy moving to a new country and going straight into a relegation dog fight - but he still managed to play for his shirt with passion as if he'd been born and bred here, brought up supporting Barnsley. He got straight on with it - first class professionalism. Many players in his position would move into Barnsley, see the relegation looming, play in some of the heavy defeats, see the writing on the wall and think 'What the hell have I come here for? This is not what I signed up for!' and turn tail. He rolled his sleeves up and got stuck in. I have a massive amount of respect for that.
Agreed and i reckon he will be a red on the 1st of July. According to him we offered him a deal after the Plymouth game and he seemed to enjoy his time here. The few months he played will set him in good stead for next season.
Ferenczi, Odejayi, Mostto and Rajczi looks a lot more promising than Wright, Richards, Hayes and Nads.
