Each to their own Tel - it's just how I see it. There's a fair chance I'm way off. But, like I said, tonight isn't the night.
Struber is by far the greatest asset we have at the club. Give him a decent budget - let's see what he can do.
Massive achievement to stay up, after that awful winless run, at the beginning of the season. Pre-lockdown we looked out of it, but on return we've looked like a new team. I thought after results against Stoke/Luton/Wigan that we were done, certainly didn't expect this to be the outcome today.
Unbelievable, If the league started when he joined we’d be comfortably mid table with the points he’s won, and you’d be happy if he left? Not sure what miracles you want him to perform but I think he’s just performed one. I don’t think we are far off a decent team, this young team now has a years experience in the championship, a couple of additions and we’ll push on next year.
Cut that crap art at back like Leeds , Forest and Brentford play and we may well do summat and not become as boring to watch as them. Well done Stroobs thas done us proud. Red Army.
Which part of tonight is not the night don't you understand? Want me to paint it on a big red bus for you?
There’s far more chance of Struber getting poached than there is of us getting rid. He’s done a brilliant job since joining, it’s actually quite hard to explain just how good a job he’s done, a quite remarkable turnaround. Well done Gerhard and his support staff.
Please, a big red bus that says £350million to the NHS. Cheer up yer miserable get, we’ve just stayed up
What do you want me to say? It would be hypocritical of me to say otherwise wouldn't it? I'm a Barnsley fan, tonight has been absolutely brilliant. But I'm allowed to say that I don't rate the manager aren't I? Some of the point scoring on here tonight is sickening. Time to log off I think.
I thought he was bonkers at first. I’ve disagreed with lots of things he’s done. I didn’t think Dougall should’ve been out of the starting line up, I didn’t think Mowatt should’ve been the sitting midfielder, I didn’t think Ritzmaier should’ve been ahead of either Oduor or Styles, I didn’t think Jordan Williams could play as a left back or left sided centre back, I couldn’t understand how Walton had leapfrogged Radlinger & Collins during lockdown, I couldn’t understand how Palmer came from nowhere to be starting ahead of Thomas, Styles, Bahre & Dougall. Even tonight I just assumed we’d throw Halme on & go long but Struber could see our best chances would come on the counter rather than lumping it long as Brentford needed the winner. He’d done a decent if not remarkable job upto lockdown but since then he’s been top class. Apart from the Stoke game his tactics & the timing of his subs have been superb. Ludewig to Chaplin against Blackburn straight after bringing them on, Halme at Luton after coming on, Schmidt against Forest after coming on & now Schmidt to Oduour after coming on. You can’t argue with that. That’s not luck.
This is a strange take. You're entitled to an opinion, but to support him leaving after what he has achieved? Feels weird
