Slept on it - just read my post back.

Shouldn't have said I hope he leaves - should have left it as it wouldn't bother me either way.

    Roll on next season.

One thing I would say, is that a coach will always favour players that are prepared to listen and learn (and can learn quickly). Without this, you cannot improve the team. Jordan Williams would be a fine example of this, even though most would accept that he is playing out of position.

Still don't get your point of view but fair do's - entitled to your opinion.

For me Stuber had an almost impossible job when he came in - young squad with very little experience let alone at this level. Have we had some luck? Yes for once, but for me he has played a poor hand extremely well.
If we keep the squad together (One can dream!) and we add a modest amount of quality we could have a very interesting season next year.

    Agree with that.

It's just an opinion. Some don't rate Mowatt. Others don't rate Woodrow. Some think Brown is garbage. I can't see how people can think that.

I don't think Struber is all that. It doesn't mean I can't be utterly ecstatic when he does well and we stay up though. Last night was incredible.

Suppose it's why I drive a van for a living.

What has been achieved is quite incredible, but don’t underestimate the the effect of a backs-to-the-wall mentality. Pure grit and determination saved us under Flicker, but we all know what happened next. You can keep it up for a few games, but not an entire season. We desperately need to strengthen ahead of the restart.

He signed a 2.5 year contract didn’t he?

So unless there’s a break clause, he should be here still.

I really don't understand 'some' people not liking him, I think he's been outstanding from day 1, and his tactics have improved us so so much!!!

Its a fair opinion dude - I'm probably caught up in the emotion of it all tbh. And when we think back to Flicker and that great escape, a lot of us felt the same and look how that turned out!!

Regardless of what happens next season, Struber won't be here for much longer than a year - he either stays, does well and gets poached or he does crap and gets the old heave ho. Modern football for you.

It's easy to get hung up on player selection and individual performances but what Struber has done is create a TEAM and a style of play that clearly works.
He bravely picks players to suit his tactics rather than what we perceive to be the best players.
He's done fantastically well and clearly cares too.
