Just listened again to that interview. While I think that Struber is basically a positive type of guy by nature, I think there are few positives regarding our current situation in there. There are some platitudes about "believing in my boys" but there is more talk of mistakes continuing to be made at set plays, learning the lessons of past transfer windows and hints at discontent with the more senior players who are now seemingly excluded. Add in the injuries to Ritzmaier and Radlinger and I don't get a positive vibe. Time to look at the betting again!
Yes, he needs a bit more composure at times. I think he has massive potential, he only got his chance when Potts was sold & has been asked to play a whole variety of roles, rarely being used as an out & out striker. Theoretically is one of our front two in the diamond on paper, but that usually means him being out wide, unless he cuts in, so chances on goal are fewer, which maybe adds to pressure on him when they do crop up.
