    I've just listened to his pre-match interview. I am no clearer after it whether he is leaving, or not. As such, I will await an official announcement.

    TBH, I started to get a little pissed off at the interviewers who just kept asking the same questions, posed different ways, to try and trip him up, due to him having ESL.

    Could he have just said Yes it’s true I’ve had offers from other clubs but i am stopping at Barnsley .

    Like many posters here, I'm too struggling to see how the club supposedly sacked Stendel for talking to clubs in private yet stand by Struber when he publically admits talks have been ongoing for weeks.

    It then suggests there's more to Stendel's sacking than the owners told us. The 'he talked to other clubs' excuse came weeks after he was sacked to try and heal wounds caused with a furious fanbase who thought Stendel had been treated poorly. Even then they tried to profit by getting compensation from Hearts. Maybe the price on his head was the issue all along.

    Obviously we won't know for sure until Whitey's book...

    It certainly seems like the owners are content with the Struber situation as playing things by the book will be worth £1.8million. He's just another replaceable asset in their eyes, never mind how losing a coach weeks into the season destabalises everything. Yet again things are set up for talented staff to leave the club the day they walk in the door.

    This was brought on us by the board. Why would you agree to a release clause for someone heading a vital area of the organisatiom? Could you imagine Alan Clarke or Wilson requesting one? They'd be told to shove it and commit to their employer.

    There’s a massive difference between Stendel and Struber....

    £1.8m, all the rest is pure conjecture.

    If I was representing Struber the minute we stayed up I’d have been touting him round as he’s on a hiding to nothing here and he knows it.
