    I agree to an extent but my issue with council tax is more to do with the banding than with concessions made to any specific demographic.

    But it could also have something to do with the fact they've been paying tax's for the past 45 years and deserve a break or two now and then.

    Discounts for students my a***

    Theyall manage to make itout round thetarn they arestudying atleast two night a week spending god knows how much on magners and weed. Oh and lets not forget how many of the scrounging feckerswill be shelling out near on&pound;200 a piece forglastonbury and leeds festival tickets.</p>

    Most of the students who I know have cars and don't think owt of spending &pound;120+ for a pair of fecking jeans!</p>

    Stop in, save your cash and do what your meant to do, study!</p>

    Sorry I was being mildly sarcastic, Barnsley is a University town, they have a big banner up at Oakwell saying so.
