The tvs arent switching back off on their own, the physical switches on the plug sockets 15 feet up the wall are most of the time switched off. And if they wanted them on then they shouldnt lie and repeatedly say during the match do not come on the pitch. Ben must have heard these PA announcements so if he wanted to he could have instructed the announcer to retract it at the time rather than allowing false information to continually be given out.
so what happened with wimbledon then. first came the relocation then came the name change then a fiull frontal heist of milton keynes stealing the status of wimbledon fc without the need to go through the leagues as every other team in the fl. if that is not doing away with tradition i do not know what the hell is. if a name change is accepted in principal it opens the gates for abuse wider than the scale of just hull becoming hull tigers or barnslkey tykes, the law passed will not take into account that it is a small name change at all. what is to stop him when the law is passed to say infact i've changed my mind juyst call us tigers or in bfc case tykes. then comes the relocation etc etc.
When will smoke bombs be allowed in the Club Shop? I've just come back from a week in Amsterdam, where everything is legal maaaaaan.
As I understand it the club shop is run by Nike. If this is the case, are we sticking with Nike as our kit supplier for next year? There have been many rumours we are changing kit suppliers and how would this affect the shop
It's not run by Nike, it's run by a firm who have an exclusive deal with Nike. Therefore, as there is a year left on the deal, we will have a Nike kit next year for sure, unless somehow there is an early termination.
So have they chalked **** On the POTY dinner then ? Cos obviously the only folk that went to that were the type that liked to diddle HMRC and rub the ordinary fans nose in it. Rather than raise money for the club.
Re: So have they chalked **** No I think there is a plan to have one next season but probably more reasonably priced than in previous years. I think Ben thinks it should be more of an occasion for fans rather than an excuse to fleece as much as possible out of them.
Re: So have they chalked **** So we have to mix with the riff raff ? Be like bingo night at New Lodge club. imho I recent years it's not been the price that's been the issue - more the poor organisation and awful 'entertainmet' Opportunity missed not to try and engage more with sponsors/businesss etc. Dyson's poison.
Re: So have they chalked **** We'll organise a WSB one. £200 a ticket, pie and pea suppoer with TFP in his races suit & Kipper Jackson as entertainment.
Re: So have they chalked **** I don't think any decisions have been made it was more Ben giving us his ideas and thoughts on how they'd look at running one again. I'm sure the new commercial guy will have ideas from his previous experience of organising these events when they get round to discussing it. I agree with you that poor organisation and awful entertainment were factors but it also became more and more expensive and at the same time the quality of the event probably got worse. Not suprisingly, less and less attended each year.
Re: So have they chalked **** i think we can get one thing straight. Jason is a clever bloke but he, with a sports lawyer background is clearly very slippery too and anyone who thinks otherwise is rather naive imo. Let him have another season at it and then see where we are. Then we should know whether he is just talking the talk and whether he can actually walk the walk so to speak. Two seasons is plenty of time to get it right. hth
