But I don't think we'll see any improvements while the poor players stay and the better ones leave. Kennedy for example is nowhere near good enough but he's the first name on the teamsheet. Flitcroft has tried to strengthen in completely the wrong areas and wrong ways. He's got shut of the good and kept the bad and you'll never see an improvement no matter how long it is given whilever that is your policy. It's the reason we're still near the bottom despite being in this league for a few years now. because we've constantly (not just flitcroft) got rid of our best players and kept our worst.
I think we got rid of the right players last season but should have been more ruthless Matty Done - not good enough to play in the Championship Edwards - not good enough Harewood - 3 goals all season foster - great servant time catches us all Rooney - never going to reach first team silva - gamble that failed. Alnwick - later but still the right decision In my opinion not quite ruthless enough should have been joined by 4 or 5 others McNulty, Kennedy as you mentioned, Dagnall, Dawson. The point about picking his favourites such as Kennedy and Dawson regardless of form is a good one. Treatment of Steele , Hassell and Scotland is poor show a young manager making mistakes. The definition of madness is repeating the same thing over and over and expecting different results. We are trying to change that mindset it's not easy.
