Rotherham aren't dawdling. New manager and 3 new players in since we outed Collins. Mind you they probably had a plan since Christmas, when they knew they didn't have a chance of survival

Darren Witcoop linking them to Byers and James from Fowls as well as Williams and Sibley. If they even get 2 of those done that's very impressive in my opinion.

 

I bet Williams was expecting better. He won’t be getting paid much more there, if more at all.

The paper is saying defender (which we have too many at and could do with getting rid of a few), but Soccerbase says midfield.

Be a good signing that. 28 goals from midfield in his past 3 seasons in a struggling side. Still only 24 too. Fits the bill.

Could do a swap deal with Dallas or Shaw, keep going till we get a good one that can play at a higher level

 

Rumour seems to suggest that Burton Albion have had a £100k bid for Leigh accepted, but that Lincoln City are also interested, as they were in for him last January. Doesn't look like us.

 

Apparently his all round game is decent, can hold it up and gets assists etc. So may be better suited to a step up to L1 than a Dallas or Shaw etc

 

Just had a look at his youtube collection of goals and assists and he looks quite handy. Might be the next Jamie Vardy, maybe. We couldn't carry Tolaj, Dallas and Shaw for certain, as they would all three be very much work in progress, but he looks to have a good turn of pace and there are one or two goals there which are class. Needs to develop a better goal celebration, but at least it looks as though the achilles problem which blighted his loan spells is past now. Worth a punt on the evidence, but only if Dallas and Shaw are being loaned out again.

 

Shaw and Dallas need shifting on for sure. Both are nowhere near good enough at all. Scouting/data let us down there
