Lol. We sign strikers expecting 30 goals but don't supply them. When they sulk and don't mow the lawn and take the bins out we berate them .
I hope they all come good and the manager gets the team gelling and creating chances. Sorely lacking in my opinion under Collins. Dreadful football, lack of shape, hopeful punts and as you've implied lack of decent service for the strikers. I'm more inclined to think Cosgrove will improve (at the moment) but we'll see eh?
Spot on. Looking forward to next season. More so because this new guy looks no nonsense like Duff and Collins did for that matter. Biggest thing going to be that there aren't any potential contract rebels next season. Reports suggest Clarke is willing to change, isn't set in his ways and likes simple, effective football. I like what he said in his opening interview about players needing to run through brick walls for him. Says what he's about. Good signs.
If they run through brick walls injuries will mount up. If he said that he's therefore a liar or a complete idiot.....
Dundee United fans reckon they are getting Will Ferry. He's apparently followed the club on social media and they think he's joining
Is there not a contradiction there. 1.93 M 188 Cm ? Or was that at birth lol. Born in Blarney. Btw. So someone is talking it. Keep telling our lass I've 12 inches. her mates are extremely jealous. When she tells em. Actually 12 CM at best.
His career stats suggest he’s too good for League Two, has potential at League One, but not yet equipped for the Championship. He’s at the point in his career where he either pushes on and achieves something, or his next move will be further down the pyramid. Not sure our tactics are particularly to his strengths, but he also needs the drive and application to prove himself and succeed accordingly.
I don't think Collins was a great man manager a strength if reports are to believed Clarke has. I think we saw a little of that with Cosgrove in the playoffs games looked a different player maybe Watters with the right man could come good.
I think Cosgrove's whole body language changed towards the back end of the season, I'd say after scoring away at Fleetwood. The player we had leading the line in the final month of the season, was a far cry from the one who was trundling around the field away at Horsham. I don't necessarily think that was down to Collins man management of him, but more his own confidence. I actually think the season ended the wrong time for Cosgrove, because he just seemed to be really hitting his stride. Hopefully he can carry that confidence over into next season, as I do think there's a very good player in there if we play to his strengths. I'd have loved to have seen more of Cosgrove and McAtee together.
Well here another one.. ELF whatsisface saying we've lost our to ArabIans Dundee United for Will Ferry Cheltenham left back
