"didnt bring the goals as expected"

Here is your "understatement of the year" award.
He scores a goal in every ten games at Championship level.
We send him back, goaless, after nine games ... the little fecker was sure to score in his next match.

    Ritchie wanted Cadamateri.
    No fecker else did.
    Time will tell.

They signed him as an 'impact player'

not sure if he's found out where the best nitespots are in Leicester yet, but he's been known to make a great impact witashtrayart. what do I know, I wanted Hart and I didnt want Ritchie. League 1 is league 1, Championship is different gravey Davey, Williamson wouldve been a good signing, if the other targets are of the same calibre, there's hope yet.

We nearly had the same dream.

In mine Lee Williamson was asleep on an ironing board in a garden.

If you honestly think we are going to spend £750k on a player at Oakwell this season - then you need your bumps feeling.

    In:
    McIndoe - £125k
    McCann - £100k

    Spent - £225k

    Out:
    McIndoe - £250k

    Income - £250k

Our most recent offer for a player, funnily enough, was £25k.
    See what I'm getting at?

    Other targets?

    Oh aye.
I wouldn't be surprised if we offered Arsenal £1.5m for Stokes tomorrow.

There's more chance of Jay winning Mr Universe than us stopping up this season.

A reasonable Championship side comprises of

at least one striker who can score goals regularly, a decent one has 2. 2 goals in 6 games, I take it back, Nardiello isnt good enough. we need 2 strikers and a beast in the middle of the park. did your dream end with the player of season awards do and bidding for 2 shirts?

    My nerve is fine.

I doubt the fans nerve will be if we're scratching around for McCann style signings at the end of the month.

I accepted we were going down on the first day of the season when we hadn't brought any quality in.
The only thing keeping our heads above the water was our team spirit & determination ... which isn't enough to keep us up.
Now it seems we are not only a bit **** ... but we don't have that desire anymore.

Let's face it - we need 5 players of Championship calibre.
Each would cost us £500k minimum.
The odds of us spending up to £3m ... roughly 28 trillion to one.
The recent signings have basically shown that we're already planning for a League One campaign.

Fans are fickle ... but they're not as stupid as some people think.
