I'd much rather him win the square root of minus one....... And for any non-mathematicians of you out there it is........ imaginary one
Spot on, It's going to be be difficult for Sam to succeed in that role with how they play. Unfortunately if he is subbed early, on the bench, plays in the under 23s or loaned out he still gets 18k per week and that is the only thing that matters to Sams agent. This could be Sams only big payout in his career and his agent will just move on to another player. I watched some of the Brighton Wednesday match and Sam needs Connor marley and hecky but at least he is now loaded.
No sour grapes on my part. Cant understand why wanting him not to succeed at our closest rivals/possible promotions rival is evenly remotely considered that. Had he moved to a number of other clubs I'd have wished him well. For you to even suggest its sour grapes is quite frankly completely bizarre.
It's the tapping up that sticks in the gut - using an agent to manufacture a move that could not have been worse timed from our point of view. And as for thanking his agent before BFC and the fans - that was not too clever. But he is a good striker, perhaps a decent lad, but I dare say there will be one or two smiles if it doesn't work at Wednesday. I'd be 100% behind him if he'd have left it until the end of the season - but he didn't.
