It's very simple for me. As these England players earn more and more grotesque amounts of money, they perform worse and worse. I can't support players on multi million pound contracts who play like amateurs. The love has gone out of the game. It's been replaced by money and greed. It is only Barnsley, and the current way it's run, that lets me still have some love and enjoyment from the sport. Your support and dedication is admirable. We just have a very different viewpoint of supporting England. Late 80's, 90's and even early 00's I loved watching and supporting England. That had died now. And don't see it ever coming back.
Re: TBH Ian with hindsight when are you next going to watch Barnsley matey ? My wife and I are in the Peak district all this coming week hill walking with the dogs....so next Saturday I will be attending the Fulham game ....its only about an hour and a half drive so its game on for me.
Re: TBH Ian with hindsight Not sure when I'll next get down. A lot depends on United not playing and obviously finances.
In the end it's all about personal choice. I'm no fool I know we have had to endure overpaid prima donas who car what cars they drive rather than how they play in an England shirt. That's why I never hero worship players it is the team for me that matters. I am currently sitting in munch airport awaiting my flight dedicated, probably deluded but I love every bit of it. Come on England.
not really arab, because we sort of got out of jail thanks to joe hart and the 0-0 away from home felt like '2 points' for us instead of 1 but not quite 3 (if there is such a thing).
TBH no such thing as an easy International game these days. Other countries have caught up fast and in lots of cases overtaken us. Scotland can only wish for a creditable 0-0 these days. We are officially a 3rd rate nation football wise. And I see us remaining so for many years to come.
Yes why not...... just like they are supporting England right now Nichola Sturgeon, thanks a lot for supporting a national referendum. One that you country happened to be a part of.
You know what kid, i fear that your team might come Wemberleee and spoil things for us by hanging on for a draw. Or maybe even beating us a-la 1977 when the goalposts were totally wrecked
Re: Yes why not...... just like they are supporting England right now Dragon not only is Scotland supporting the referendum but we are also supporting and propping up your failing country. Enjoy your dramatic fall in living standards once we leave. Oh and BTW it's Nicola
