Done I know a Leicester supporter and he agree's and he's already got me a ticket which he can take back, but if we dont get the discount i'll be in home end. I've sent them a email showing my disgust
i think they know is going to be a massive game for both sides so theyve limited away tickets to 1000 "to reduce policing costs" and reduced home prices to get a sell out crowd behind them
RE: i think they know is going to be a massive game for both sides But they'll be away fans in home end, that'll cost them more "police costs"
RE: i think they know is going to be a massive game for both sides exactly suggested that in one of my above posts
I emailed the League about it. This is the reply Dear Ian Thank you for your communication. Whilst regulations provide that visiting supporters may not be charged more than home supporters for comparable accommodation, they also enable clubs to offer discounted ticket promotions at four home games per season to home supporters, the aim being to encourage new supporters to experience the thrill of watching live football for a reduced entry cost. Whilst this may create discrepancies at some matches between the prices being paid by home and away supporters it should be recognised that this is a result of prices being redcued for promotional purposes rather than being raised from the normal price bands. We would also advise that it is the clubs themselves who determine the regulations in General Meeting. Thanks again. Patricia Brown Customer Services The Football League
Plus- I haven't been to the Walkers So I'm going regardless.
I agree that the ST should make a stand however. Not surprised you know who is going in the home end.

BBC Radio Leicester are aware of the situation and may be running a phone in on Monday regarding the situation. Will keep you informed
I don't care if they charge us £200 per ticket I'm not going because it's cheap, or because they're being "festive" All this Christmas ballax can **** right off, I'm going to support my team, I don't care how much their fans are paying to get in. We should be going down there to get behind the reds in an important match, not to "protest" against their pricing policy.
I cannot see a problem with the special ticket price deal - its something we can do ourselves at Oakwell and is not against any rules. I do think the reducton in numbers of tickets on sale is a bit silly however, it may mean that BFC have a smaller than normal suppport.
RE: Realistically we're not gonna take more than 1000 so what's the problem...nt Leicester can do whatever they please. It's their stadium. Still can't make my mind up whether to go or not. Not because of the ticket prices, but because I shall struggle to get to work in time in the evening. If there's a way around it, I'm there.
Don't we do the same?? I mean if we have a deal on bring the kid for free, schoolkids a fiver etc. isn't it just homew fans?
