    Nay - yer all missing the point

    and the point is...if we'd have started building a few fortress type prisons 10 years ago, when it was first mooted there would not be enough room, they would have been ready for occupation now. It would have created new jobs building them, boosted the economy of Orkney, Shetland, the Hebrides and Spitzbergen, provided new and rewarding jobs in the prison service - and most important of all, put pay to any of the worthless scumbags reckoning on getting a lighter sentence due to being full up.</p>

    I ask again - where are the prison ships?</p>

    I'm trying to work this out

    Unfortunate, why? You'd prefer we had more so that the proportion was higher?!

    and we could have built some internment camps for all these illegals, and in the case of war/civil unrest.....

    Simple... 'chain gangs' doing road repairs etc. 2 x 12hour shifts a day 7 days a week. 'cell sharing' 1 sleeps 1works then they swap every 12 hours!! Sorted:pff
