That should bolster the early bird sales.

True on both accounts he is taking the flack but he is a useless so and so anyway and plainly just not good enough

We'll never know if he was any good though because of these owners.

They're going to have to inject funds next season whether they like to or not. How they get that money is another matter. I digress.

The reason I feel sorry for Asbaghi is they will spend to save face. However, it probably will be without him.

They didn't back him in January. He wanted experienced combative midfielders to bolster his way of playing.

He ended up with two flare players to mould into a weak squad.

Why should they back someone else? Doesn't seem fair to me.

They can go **** themselves. No way I'm handing any cash to these people. If that means we go into admin, I'd rather that than carry on with this. I go to football for highs & lows & a bit of banter & a few beers. They can't even serve up a decent beer. Utter ****.

Schopp didn't get an experienced midfielder either. Lost the head physio, sports scientist, had to contend with a new CEO etc etc.

This with bells on. Were Hudds good tonight or did we make them look good? I've been most home games and 5/6 away and the standard is terrible. We are bottom of a crap league. Disastrously bottom. Deservedly bottom. Who have impressed me? Fulham (twice). Hudds tonight. Blackburn (a). Swansea ( to an extent) Muff (to an extent). Blades for 20 mins at ours. Barrow bizarrely. Thats it. We should be lower mid table end of. What a shambles of a season

Problems do run much deeper but he's still been a disaster.

This is a very sensible summary. I think even if we had had Warnock, or even Alex bloody Ferguson we'd have struggled to stay up after Schopp and with the conditions our manager has to work under.

I don't think Asbaghi has been particularly poor, or come across as an idiot, he just hasn't been brilliant. Ismael was brilliant, and so he was poached immediately because we can't keep hold of anyone.

This is why I'm starting to stop caring. What's the point if you need brilliance as a minimum, but know that if it's shown you'll lose it immediately?

Wrong. Warnock would have instilled some passion, belief and work ethic. He'd also have been far better tactically. He'd have got a win on the board before the loanees made their appearance and he'd have demanded the necessary personnel in January.

Also, in the form table since Poya arrived we're 23rd. That's only down to him.

But those two flair players helped get us to within two points of reading at one stage.

Then we failed to beat Reading largely because of his failure to see what was happening in front of him. Who knows what effect a win there might’ve had. Instead, the draw pretty much finished our season.

I think as well as demanding the personnel, he’d have identified players that he needed that would’ve come on loan to play for him. He might’ve even sold someone on early in the window, to allow him to bring players in early.

No but he knows what it takes to win football matches and knows that's necessary if you want to avoid relegation!

Fair. But that's kind of the point I was making. Even if he does know all that, and would have been able to apply it all correctly, would Conway et al let him?

That's why they didn't hire him, didn't want someone rocking the boat. It's why they're now going to wait til the end of the season to sack Asbaghi, or mutually release him, or describe it how they think it's appropriate.

Like Jay said earlier, time now to look at action to get them out. Talk to other fan groups. Boycott expenditure. Remember Blackpool and the Oystons? Boycott is possible.

I'll tell thee what, I admire your efforts to stand up for the bloke. He's certainly been dealt a **** hand, and the problems do indeed run much deeper. I'd say that probably 85% of the available coaches in November would have struggled to keep us up, such is the malaise at the club. He's also only 36, and I won't write his career off - this might well be a huge learning experience for him that helps him make the best of his career.

But, I bet you anything that if you put me in charge, I could get a better tune out of the players on Tuesday than he can. Even if all I've got to offer is a bit of tubthumping and leaving some lads out when we defend a corner. They'd have a go, and the fans would appreciate it.

They've picked the wrong bloke, for the wrong circumstance, at the wrong stage of his career. That's why he needs to go. And the fact that anyone thought for a second that he was the right bloke, shows just how much of a mess we're in.

Please remember though, it took 28 years of Oyston ownership and over £30m of asset stripping, before their fan protest started.

He has to go. Failed to win any of his first 12 games when he had Schopp’s side plus Morris & Anderson.

Only won a couple of games because we recruited two decent loanees. That table since he took over that Sky put up is as damning as it gets.

Doesn’t improve players, doesn’t seem to have a style of play, makes bad subs, seems to have no character at all. There’s just nothing there.

He seems a nice guy & he speaks better English than the previous manager but neither make him a suitable football manager for us. Get shut ASAP

Clearly we've never clearly had any good seasons under these bad clearly inept owners, when I look back at our history I don't see this Ismael fella you guys keep talking about?

What relegation? Haven't we always been in L1?
