Sort of. We bought a bigger computer monitor which is also a TV (well, I say bought, we got it free from Amazon with our Swagbucks giftcards) as the old one didn't support our new graphics card (also free ). That coincided with us having problems with our internet and when the Virgin Media guy saw our old ntel box he gave us a free Tivo. We already had a TV licence for the Olympics last year (I get one every 4 years just for that) but because we got a bigger screen and a free Tivo box the husband renewed our licence so we now have a few programmes we series link and watch every so often. I'm just coming up to the end of Series 1 now and I'm hoping the future ones are as good because this series has been great.
McBurnie has been scoring goals in the Swansea U23's and is highly rated by their fans. To be fair, he's only been given the last five or so minutes in the two games he's been brought on as sub , which is hardly sufficient time to make any impact, plus there's a world of difference between being a striker in the Premiership and the Championship. Regarding Yiadom, as previously stated, it's not his shoulder that's the problem, he's got a 2 millimetre stress fracture in his back. If Swansea do sign him, it will therefore probably be weeks before he can play for them. Sounds similar to our situation regarding McGeehan.!
Yeah. My mate saw the pair of them outside the Ponty End. My eyes are painted on so I didn't recognise either of them - they were a good distance from us - but Yiadom was there apparently!
Makes sense now. Means he missed the game as in didn't play, not that he wasn't physically there. I didn't see him. Mind you I thought we won 3-0. Talk about lazy journalism.! http://ghanasoccernet.com/andy-yiad...in-win-over-sunderland-despite-transfer-hitch
Can't understand for the fckng life of me why Barnsley fans wouldnt want Yiadom straight back in our side. A 3 million quid full back that can play both sides. Ah, yeah, we won, that'll be the swingometer of opinion again.
I agree. Starting to feel like these two players are the only thing that matters. It makes a complete mockery of the transfer window.
Probably his performances since he's wanted a transfer, especially the one where he played in lead boots at Bristol.
Depends if Yiadom wants to stay. If he does he's a fantastic player who could only add to the team and squad. If he doesn't want to stay then perhaps for both parties to go their separate ways. Would prefer the former, but if it's the latter I hope we get atleast £3 or £4million.
I've been disgusted that a player that's played 1 full season in the championship suddenly feels he's so far above it he's refusing to play in it and should be playing in the premier league even despite failing a medical in the premier league.
I am not sticking up for him but I do not think he has refused to play, unless I have missed something.
