Swansea want 20 Million for Mawson according to the Sun

I read this somewhere yesterday. Trying to find the link.

 

If we do get ~£4m from a sell on clause, then we have done fantastic out of the deal. 18 months(?) service, including a promotion and cup win and around £8m profit. Can't argue with that in my opinion...

 

I think it's something like 15% on the difference between the fee we received from Swansea and what they receive when he moves again. So I'm thinking somewhere around £2.25 million if they sell for £20mill and we got £5mill from the original deal. Still good money though.

 

Never in doubt about a sell on clause, that's our policy.

It's telling how good a job we've done that we're now debating whether the sell on fee generates £2m at 10% or £4m at 20%.
