Good player I like him but been hit and miss all season. Definitely has many fan boys on here even when he's gash many jump to his defence.

Where would Herbie Kane sit on your fanny scale?

Midfield fannies. I struggle to see what was unclear about that.

He's started a debate on if it's possible or not to have too much fanny.

I think the illness he had after the playoff final is the root of his problems.

I don't think I'd put Phillips in the fanny category. He will try and get stuck in if he's in the same postcode as where the ball is. But more often than not, if you want to locate Phillips, you look for the ball and then look for the furthest point on the pitch from there, and that's where Phillips will be. I don't think he does it deliberately, I just think he's got a really bad sense of direction. He very easily gets lost. You'll always find him in the kitchen at parties.

A ex journalist now agent Itk in the south west Darren Witcoop reckons it's Phillips not Connell.

That would be more worrying. Definitely chalking fvk on the season if we sell Phillips.

    Madness.

He's doing the work of about 6 men in midfield as all of the others can't be arsed when we don't have the ball.

I see Nwakali is playing instead of him today, so we'll see how that works.

Lol I'm all for defending players but doing the job off all the other midfielders all season? Really?

When we don't have the ball, yes. And it's even more evident today when he isn't there. We've a midfield 3 of Phillips, Russell and Nwakali, and none of them want to do any spade work.

If that's your opinion fine I think the game would be pretty much the same today with or without him. I think he's been hit and miss this season he plays in front of the defence is job is to break up play

Thats what I'm saying - or trying to. We've nobody else that does the same job as him. Granted, he's not had the best of seasons, but he's had little help in the midfield engine room.

Look at Wrexhams late winner he was supposed to be closing down. I think he's been due a rest for a while and if we can't beat these without him we're in trouble or Clarke is.
