All the spoilt, smug kids at our school were Wednesday fans. Life was unbearable for us Tarn fans when they won 3-0 at Oakwell on the opening day of the season! Different kettle of fish, mind, when we won the return fixture lol.... Certain individuals were absent for a few days.
It's a fixture I write off as soon as it comes out. Not because I dislike Wednesday. As other posters have said. It's the manor of defeat we usually suffer there.
