Saw Alison Moyet at sheffield city hall many yrs ago. Superb. I preferred her own material rather than that of Yazoo.

Great band with many hits. Problem is I've never got to see em.

Can remember that song. It was very popular at the time, but mostly forgotten now.

Totally agree. His albums over the past 20 years or so have been excellent and just get better and better. I’ve seen him 4 times in recent years (bless him for always playing Sheffield, as Leeds can be a bugger to get home from after gigs) and his live shows are brilliant. His band look and sound fantastic.

I took my son, who’s determined that his future will be in music, to the last one, at the Leadmill. That was a gig celebrating his early stuff though, so I can’t wait to take him to see Numan playing his new stuff.

Gary Numan was the first gig I booked after/during Covid. The plan was that he'd be on stage, and everybody would be sat in their cars watching. It was canceled and I still haven't seen him live. Maybe next year.

And I bet she still sounds as good today ehh Rm. :),
But the only disappointment though, is she supports Southend Fc lol, and that of course is totally unacceptable!.

And yeah I like Annie McLennox too lol
But I won't talk about Kate Bush singing Heathcliffe though, because that's not synth pop, and I was too young to be thinking about that sort of thing in the late 70s.

I prefer the original Blue Monday, from '83. ;)
But for me one of the best ever intros, was their True faith, in '87.

Hey Rm, remember Alison doing this, as part of a big fashion show!!, some years ago.
I thought it was weird and that she wasn't getting respected, at first.
But at least the bloke who was the 'designer', came out at the end and obviously they were friends.

Yeah Visage ehh in late '80, and the late Steve Strange the singer (I think that was his real name).
Its interesting that Midge Ure (away from Ultravox), was also doing this song as well a few years later.

And what about Andy and Paul ehh, as OMD, with this one in early '82.
For me it was unbelievable music at that time (and I was only ten and a half then lol).

Steve Harrington was his real name if I remember rightly.
