Tbh it's not summat I knew off hand. I saw him playing in another game the other day. . And looked it up when i saw him. Like you I'd not heard of him for a few years. He had been playing for other clubs in other tournaments across the world looking at wiki. Playing for sussex is not on his page. But another article I picked up on re his disappointment at sussex not giving him another contract.

Re the no ball sixes I got on about. Can you or anyone else remember. I think it was a 40 over league game. Its bugging me.

Not sure what you mean about the no ball sixes but the John Player Sunday league was 40 overs a side and they didn’t even start til 2.00 pm.
Often finished in dark and rain was no excuse to call them in.
Scores of 240/250 were thought of as good scores !!!
They were also played during a break day from the County games with the players having to travel back to the venue later on the Sunday evening

I think the last 40 overs comp was the Yorkshire Bank Trophy. Ran from 2010 to 2013, replaced by what is now the 50 over comp.

Gillette Cup was 60 overs. Ran from early 60s to late 70s

    B&H, 55 overs ran from mid 70s to late eighties/early 90s

Hats off to Malan and Lyth today - made 180 chase look easy - Lyth is absolutely destructive when he’s on form. Long must it continue this season - we might make the quarter finals!

Only watched first 10 overs due to rain in NY. I'd have put plenty on a Derbys victory....
...and that's why bookies love me.....

Stroll in the park. Just as it should be with that top four to call on. If only our bowling attack matched it

There's still a good chance of some Yorkie One day or T20 success this season.
You could say its not proper cricket lol, like test/county matches, but we are doing well at the moment. :)
