3 - 2 now first over. India showing their superiority! I think Hazelwood is answering honestly @dreamboy3000 , I wouldn't say mind games necessarily. Bear in mind England need to win a match first to be a threat to Australia!
Pitch is playing well. USA on for a huge total by New York standard Anderson was a huge hitter in his New Zealand days. He needs to be aiming for 40+ from here.
After the Sandpapergate, I'm not impressed with him saying this, even if it is a joke. If things don't go their way, even if they give 100%, which I doubt, then it will cast doubt on the result.
I appreciate that it's made for a few exciting games, but if these tracks were used in a county championship game the umps would be reporting them.
Tim Paine at it too. We could win tomorrow night and be out or near enough out by the time we wake up Friday morning, with Scotland playing Australia at 1:30 am.
I'm not getting the angst personally, they've already soundly beaten us once this tournament, they're looking strong I took those comnents as tongue in cheek, Aussies always wsnt to win don't they, it's their mentality!
The Aussies have earned the right to do what they want by winning their early games and going through. If it wasn’t for rain we’d already be out so can’t have any complaints. I bet the people on here crying about it weren’t complaining about England throwing that game against Belgium to get an easy run in the World Cup knock out a few years ago.
The Aussies just have a weird sense of humour. How else do you explain mullets and porn star taches...?
https://www.espncricinfo.com/story/...-pakistan-england-sl-nz-still-qualify-1438051 So we need to look at thrashing Oman even more than Scotland did. If we win the toss we will likely bat first to try and get as many runs as possible.
We certainly should. But Mott and Buttler seem to have an insane desire to bat second, no matter how situation or conditions would say otherwise.
