I thought the ref did ok but I suspect Fowls fans may differ not so sure about the linesman at the west stand side mind a few poor decisions against us there

Thought he was decent as he was against Cambridge but just like then I thought he was a bit liberal with the yellows against us and not consistent for similar challenges by them. At one point around the time Norwood was subbed I saw a stat that we had committed 6 fouls and had 4 bookings, whereas they had 12 fouls and only 1. I can't for the life of me understand why Smith didn't get a second yellow for his assault that sent Bobby T (I think) cartwheeling. In general play the ref was fine though and I'll never grumble at one who errs on the side of letting the game flow.

He now has a record reffing us of P7 W6 D1 L0 - we maybe should invite him back on 25th April!

Referee was in charge of probably his biggest game ever, Well Done.

If he can ref us the rest of the season that's fine by me.

That linesman was terrible. Got half a dozen things wrong and spent most of his time looking for the ref to make the decisions for him. How on Earth he didn’t see Norwood’s close range flick come off the middle of the keeper’s chest I don’t know, as he had a clear view. Word to Norwood though, when you get subbed straight after, before the game has restarted, make sure you are on the other side of the white line before effing and Jeffing at the linesman, just in case. He was stood in front of the linesman (probably the only way the blind get would see him) and my lad asked what would happen if he got sent off for bad language now, so I was willing him to leave the sodding pitch!

Lovely two advantages played with the fouls on Tedic and Watters.
