    But scored at a time when the club was sliding down the leagues towards the bottom of the Fourth Division .

    Think it was 1994/95 season, the year we bet huddersfield 4-0 in the cup. Im sure he got 20 that year. He got 41 goals in 100 games for us which is a very good record.

    We should not forget other prolific strikers of past 20 years....

    Andy Payton scored 41 in 108 starts
    Neil Shipperly scored 31 in 88 starts

    Also remeber Wayne Biggins, David Currie, Jan Fjortoft and John Hendrie having good records...

    Just checked it up

    Spot on .
    In all my years of following Barnsley , the only strikers to score over 20 league goals during a standard season were Mick Butler ( with 22 in 1973/74 ) & Brian Joicey ( with 26 in 1976/77 ) .
    I'm obviously a jinx !!
