The original plan for yesterday was Dunford Bridge, but that bl**dy hill on the TPT from Dodworth past Silkstone Common broke us and we ended up detouring to Midhopestones (just before they turned off the main road for the climb) and had enough time to find a spot before the caravan.

Highlight for me was one of the stragglers milking the crowd riding along with both hands in the air like he was celebrating a stage win.

As for the crowd being full of idiots on the climbs - they are exactly the same on any other climb. At least I didn't see too many fat blokes in mankinis chasing them up the road...

Just off Halifax Road, dropping down hill towards Haworth, or 'Harworth' as those planks on ITV were calling it. Thought about watching them come up the cobbles on Main St, but felt it would be a shame not to see them come past our house.
