Blame the UDM and the Notts scabs for the strike failing and our current dodgy energy situation.
Also all those unions who, when the time came to return the backing they'd had from the miners, skulked off and hid. Shame on them all.

Yes I do. And as close freinds from all generation of teaching era's. I also work the normal shift. from about 8 til 6 plus travel 5 days a week, i then do my chores when i get home and then hit the screen again. I do not get paid as much as a teachers basic. I get alsorts of ***** thrown my way and i dont get a considerable holiday allowence. I'm going on strike too!
Why should they? That would be secondary action which is illegal....I don't see the teachers asking for others to come out on strike with them
Modern marking systems Even **** stuff gets 7/10 otherwise that would be persecuting the poor lambs. have you seen the GCSE results lately. Everyone gets one free with their school dinner.
Local Elections give Labour a bloody nose..... Feckin council tax up again, fuel up again, shopping bills up again, 10p tax rate gone, under inflation payrises for public sector workers... How much money spent on Iraq....????? good old Labour eh, the zombies of Barnsley will stagger into the polling booths next week and put a big X at the side of the Labour candidate as usual...
That didn't help but they'd have broken that strike whatever the cost. Remember going to Cleethorpes and seeing 40 coal wagons , yep we did count, with 40 police vans full of police. They would never have been allowed to win ... remember when my dad went back to work at Woolley after the strike - just seemed futile!
