    Who would be a manager?

Don't think Palmer did anything tonight to deserve being dropped for a right wing back, but at the same time I would find a way to get Jordan Williams in the team. We've got to get an early goal but at the same time need to leave enough on the bench to go for it with 20 minutes left at 0-0. Tough decisions.

I’d have Morris/Dike/Chaplin or Morris/Woodrow/Frieser as the front three. They’re the combinations that did so well at Brentford and Bournemouth

Chaplin / Morris / Woodrow bring on Dike later & the Iceman, when they are tired.

Without going back to check the stats, it feels like Morris has generally had more of an impact when he's come off the bench in the second half of games. Dunno if that's actually the case....

What did Palmer do wrong? I thought he was excellent.

I think Chaplin needs to be involved at some point, he's a clever player and last night we needed that bit of guile.

Woodrow can't start, he offered next to nothing last night.

Morris, Frieser and Dike for me.

I would start with morris he offers us so much more than any of the other front men for pace and movement. Val seems to like him off the bench and I can see why but Saturday I think we need a quick start or I think they will just slow it down like they did last night.

I also thought Palmer had a good game and would have subbed Mowatt instead who was very poor

I am reading all these posts, and I have to say Mowatt and Woodrow were very poor last night.Their defenders had DK in there pocket too. Also why does it seem that every throw in was directed at one of their players. Is Styles the only one allowed to take them.Well at least we know we have a decent away record so hopefully we could still have a good chance of making it through.

Woodrow, Dike, Morris is what I'd pick! Morris needs to play, he looks our best player atm

I thought Palmer played well last night. If anybody is to be dropped for Williams, it's Styles. He wasn't at his best last night.

Difficult to say which front three we should start with. In my opinion, we need an early goal. We can't really afford to concede first. They coped with Dike well, he was quiet, so I'd be half tempted to drop him to the bench for Morris, and maybe swap Frieser/Chaplin. We caused more panic in their back four when Morris was on the pitch.

I felt that Palmer and Mowatt seemed to take up the same positions too often first half. As did Dike and Woodrow. It meant Frieser had lone battle and Brittain was a little exposed at RB first half. I dont think selection is all about dropping players who did something wrong, but about selecting players as a team that can win the game Saturday. For me the first goal will be from the team going on to win the tie. It has to be all or nothing and i dont see Val style to 'stay in the game for 70 mins' then go for it.

I would consider same line up start with Morris in for Frieser. If we start with Frieser than the whole team needs that high press back from minute 1 to be effective. Im not sure we have the energy left for that.

Think I'd keep the same team apart from starting Morris for either freiser or woodrow. As neither did much last night.

I thought Palmer could have slid Woodrow in during the first half rather than shoot.

The strongest team to give us the strongest start. We need to get at them for the first kick and get an early goal. The first 10 or 15 minutes of the 2nd half from last night, is how we need to start from the first whistle. We need to find something different. More quality in the final pass, more composure, more shots on target, and DK needs to learn from last night. He can't afford to get into another wrestling match, and I hope that message gets through to him over the next few days. Obviously not over. Only 1 nil and the tie can turn on it's head in 5 minutes, but from what I've seen over three games against Swansea this season they have our number so far. Going to need something extra on Saturday.

I don’t think we’ve lost a game that Morris has started
