I agree with you,it does seem very harsh on Hammill,Bradshaw and Hedges;who have been the best performers this season. In my hypothetical team and formation,they don't seem to fit. Unless we had a massive injury crisis,I don't think we will ever see that team. I have noticed that this season a lot of teams are using this formation. Again,it's just for fun,I did like it when the club played this formation throughout the 90s,under the care of Eric Winstanley. We seemed hard to beat but I wonder if I'm suffering from nostalgia.
I doubt the formation will end in anything but "1". Like someone said the other day, Hecky doesn't seem to trust his midfield enough just yet. I really dislike one up top. It just says "hope not to get beat" to me, especially when we don't have a striker that excels in that lone striker role. I wouldn't want to pay to watch it on a regular basis with Bradshaw up front on his own. It's like pulling teeth.
