I see the value in JCR through the middle JCRs form is key for us. When he plays really well he creates havoc and space for others. ie Donny and the Wolves "1-0 hammering" last season amongst others. From what I saw on Sunday Wendies have a no-nonsense well organised defence. If we dink the ball forward like we usually do and like blunts did yesterday then we will not score. Jcr running at them makes a lot of sense.
RE: I see the value in JCR through the middle We play 3 at the back and we will get hammered.</p> We haven't got the players to play it in my opinion.</p> JCR does look dangerous when he has the ball , the only snag is that he has to do something with it ultimately, and thats where his game falls down more often than not. He scores a great goal now and then , but we need more than that I am afraid. </p>
Given our complete overrunning in midfield I will go against the habit of a lifetime and suggest 3-5-1 as a last resort-just to avoid losing</p> at this stage a 0-0 will do me-but I'm not confident-I am beginning to realise that the Doncaster game was simply us beating a very very poor team who are even worse than us at scoring-who were and are below us in the League-we have to start doing well against those who are above us ie most of the division!! </p> a performance similar to the Cardiff game will surely see the axe fall? NB Wednesday are a playoff team at the moment!-and please please could we try and score before halftime to make this look better</p> http://stats.football365.com/dom/ENG/D1/winht.html</p> </p>
I know we did well against Donny with ten men But I'd prefer us to start the Wednesday game with 11 on the field.
How about this one? Muller Futcher McCarthy De Zeuuw Eaden Redfearn Hignett Barnard Glavin Hendry Aylott Subs: Watson (GK), Currie, Owen, Gray & Joyce
Lazarus is nowhere near ready for the first team. He is just being included in the squad to bump up his value for any future tribunal. With our lack of options there is no harm trying a youngster - but Jamil Adam is the one that is more ready.
