The main reason we’re in the mix has been the use of the squad & our subs. Even if Morris starts he’s probably only going to play an extra 10 minutes at the most. I’m happy to go with whatever the manager decides on. He’s earned our trust. He thinks we need better pressers then go with them, if he thinks we need a more physical approach then go with that. For me we need to keep rotating the forwards & keep them sharp.
Morris has found himself coming on at half time with us a goal behind in three of the last four games. Coming into the run in, the first goal will become more important, as teams cling onto what they have. I don’t see why we wouldn’t start with our biggest goal threat to give ourselves the best chance of getting in front
The Southampton Ceni* The Hounslow Hierro The Silesia Stam The Copenhagen Cannavaro The Bedford Beckham The Doncaster Davids The Manchester Maldini The Bury Baggio The Hertfordshire Henry The Edmonton Eto'o The Cambridge Cantona *(different letter, but it still fits, and Ceni liked to play in midfield too)
I don’t see it like that. I think we’ve only got Middlesbrough, Coventry & Rotherham to play who will have something on the line. Even if we’re a goal down I’ve every faith we can rotate the forwards & keep the pressure up & get sides who are mentally on the beach to crack. Whether we’re a goal up or a goal down or level we’re going to play with a high line, we’re going to suffocate the opposition & it’s up to them to be good enough to play out or hit a perfect ball between our keeper & defence. We don’t care if a team gets an early goal & wants to sit deep because either way we’re going to force them to have to play from deep anyway
You could put styles in midfield and Williams wing back. Palmer and halme on bench if it needs changing back.
Collins Sibbick Helik Anderson Brittain. Mowatt. Halme. Styles Chaplin. Dike Frieser Morris has proved he makes the biggest impact from the bench currently, it’s our plan B, always handy to have. Woodrow struggled the other night. Halme deserves a start, plus Palmer been off it these past couple of games.
