Windows 10, Flash installed, using Microsoft Edge but for Player I use Chrome as for whatever reason it doesn't work on Edge. As far as online banking is concerned, I've used it personally and professionally for about as long as it's been available, no idea exactly but probably at least 20 years. I've never EVER had a problem and I've never EVER heard of anyone that has. I've paid and received sums into 6 figures without a moment's thought. I dread to think about the total involved over all this time. I'm sure there are risks, but I've never heard of anyone being affected. There are risks with anything - I've got a car which has a security vulnerability if I drive it at high speed off the edge of a cliff or into a brick wall. I still drive it. I know that's flippant but in 2016 I simply cannot believe that someone doesn't trust online banking, with or without flash.
These vulnerabilities in software are often found and patched without hackers or anyone in the public even knowing about them until it is reported. Just because a hole has been found in software doesn't mean that people have been affected strange that some people won't use Flash but will run Windows which is forever being patched
Yes, I've had a look. My experience has mostly been in process control (for the NCB) and production scheduling (Jaguar cars) using mainly what used to be called Mini computers (PDP-11 and Vax/Alpha all from DEC), it's only the last 6 months I've started working with web development and I've not done any security related stuff until today strangely. I would think that as long as you regularly scan for viruses and malware you should be ok though. I've been doing internet banking for at least 10 years with no problems. The only thing I fell for was about 10 years ago when I got a phishing email supposedly from eBay.
It's not geo locked. You can't download content, only stream. It does use Flash unless you get the app but I've never had any bother with it nor do I know anyone in real life that has.
Not sure why? BFC Player uses Flash Flash is longer be supported Flash is a full of security risks regularly exploited by hackers Just because most people have not had issues does not mean they dont exist HTML5 is the replacement for the hated Flash
