It stems from Merde Tete insulting somebody's missus. As per, Ponty got stuck in and here we are.

My grasp of the situation is a bit sketchy, I'm sure one of the main bods can fill you in.

I'd deduced most of that

so tyrone didnt find it funny, hasnt accepted an apology and has resorted to school playground type threats.

Taking the piss out of someone you have never met can't possibly mean anything.
For instance - If I said that owing to your minging mush that your Mum & Dad must be Swamp Pigs ... then do I mean it? Have I met them? Is it based in fact?
No, no it isn't.

There are two further complications though.
(1) He fancies me - and obviously wants to have it off with me.
(2) Every evening, when he gets home from work, his lovely new wife is tired & full of Ponty juice ... so I can't really blame him for being upset.
