    A massive thank you to Patrick and his family for all they've done for the club I love. I just hope that the rest of his life is as happy and pain free as it possibly can be in the circumstances. A true legend. A statue of him and Rimmo at the back of the Ponty end would be the least that could be done. Lets make Boxing Day all about him.

    I wish that you could stay and lead us through the next chapter but alas it cannot be. I’m sure that the deal you have hammered out with the new owners will be good for us all.
    I’m certain that I speak for a lot of people when I say that our lives have been better for your intervention and hard work at our favourite football club and for that we all thank you.

    This is one of the biggest things to happen to Barnsley as a town not just our football club, a booming club will have a knock on affect to local businesses and Barnsley people's lives. Fantastic day and all brought together by one man Patrick Cryne. Hope for a large crowd on boxing day to show our appreciation and to welcome the new owners. Can't wait.

    Many many thanks to Patrick Cryne. He oversaw probably the most spectacular promotion in the club's history, a cup win and kept us afloat. Fantastic service to the club.
