    Patrick saved us in our darkest hour and steadied a sinking ship. A true Oakwell hero and legend. Every time I curse a Brad Potts shot into Row Z or a mazy run from Angus MCDonald I blame him. Without him there would be nothing. The future is uncertain we are no longer in such loving hands but whatever happens Patrick was a generous and warm custodian who gave us some happy times.

    Thank you For everything you have done for the club Patrick.

    Under your stewardship I’ve been able to introduce my son to Barnsley FC and he has seen his team win twice at Wembley. He’ll be a Red forever!
