    RE: Paul Jewell

He was given quite a lot of time at Wigan - and eventually got them up into the premiership. He barely lasted a season at Wednesday & Derby.

Would he be given time at Oakwell? Is anybody given time these days?

Agreed, as much as I used to hate the mouthy fcuker on the pitch, I think he'd be ideal.

A few good points made. I think if someone else does come into the club then there will be no more success than we have at present. I think we will always be in the group of clubs who are going to be hovering around the bottom of the table. There may be more money available for us next season to spend on players, but this is also the case for everyone else too so all we are going to get are inflated prices for players who just aren't worth the money. As for a new manager, I can't think of anyone who I would like to see in the hot seat except Macca, but he's out of the question at the moment. I'm trying not to be too pessimistic but it's just the way I see things happening. It was a great day yesterday and was very pleased the lads won the game in the style they did. Looking at the tables, it doesn't even look close now. Whatever happens let's hope that BFC go forward from here and make sure there is a club to support for many years to come so that future generations may experience the ups and downs of supporting their local side. Up the Reds
