    Doug O'Kane has also said that we might now turn to free agents. Sound familiar? They've said this the last couple of times we were lacking after a window too. I don't see it happening, so why say it. (Doug says what the club tells him, as far as I can tell!).

    Not that I'm too disappointed by our business this window - I like the look of the new lads! And well done on seemingly keeping everyone

    I don't mind the fact that the club aren't willing to pay over the odds or sign a player who won't improve the squad for the sake of it. We clearly tried to get a left back but it wasn't to be. So I imagine styles will play there, or J Williams will once fit. And then we are left with Palmer, Benson and the new lad to play central. And I personally think Palmer and Benson have looked very good so far.

    How come? Got rid of some deadwood, replaced someone injury prone with a highly rated talent from the English champions and kept hold of all our star players.

    I would say it's been a good window.

    Palmer looks good but only for 65 minutes then seems to fade badly hopefully this Gomez has a good engine on him.

    I'm a bit confused to be honest. It seems obvious that we've missed out on pretty much all our targets, but that's how it goes sometimes. I do think we've got a weaker squad tonight than we did this morning though - I thought Schopp saw something in Miller that we'd be replacing, and although I wish the new guy all the best I don't see that it's an upgrade on giving our own player some minutes.

    All very odd. Still looking forward to seeing the guys we have signed on the pitch though!

    No left sided player. Our squad is very weak and blowing after the first 45. Hope I'm wrong but a a couple of injuries we are f1cked.

    Good news though we have kept helick and styles etc

    Haven’t we essentially swapped Kane for Gomes?

    Get that Miller has left, but with the two Belgians being given their Visa recently then the squad overall is stronger? Feels a bit of a stretch to say we’re weaker. Not sure it would feel weaker in the programme on the next match day.

    Styles was rated the second best LB/LWB in the division last season. There's one left-sided player. Both Williams' can play there. Oduor too. And we might still sign someone.

    I really don’t understand why people are upset we haven’t signed a left back when Styles was pretty much an ever present in that position last season where he was one of best players in league. We have Ben Williams back as cover who is like a new signing. I also don’t understand the upset over a lack of experience when we have followed the same model for the last 5 years in recruiting youth

    It's because we seem to be gasping out of our arses after 45 minutes a match. Our bench as looked very numb but now our 2 strikers can play the squad will look different. Hardly a disaster window though
