For that one moment we really thought we were on the up and that the fairytale would continue. It ended before the end of the match, but for that moment it was almost as good as Clint's goal.

The third moment was undoubtedly Howard's goal at Anfield, purely for the sheer drama. The second best football experience was Huddersfield away a year or so ago, partly for the achievement, partly for the drama, but mainly for the complete coming together of everybody in the ground, after such a dramatic and draining afternoon. The achievement of our club at the end of that season was incredible, so it deserved the fairytale ending. But that afternoon can't really be described as having a 'moment' like the other three did.

Thinking about things like this make me wonder what people who aren't daft footy fans would consider their best moment. Surely they can't have experienced what we did when Clint scored or even when Howard scored. I'd love to know how non-footy or sports fans decide on things like this.

This is by far the best post ive ever read on bbs...I got goosebumps all over just by reading this...thanks for sharing your thoughts because its just reminded me of the good times we have had...

Yes, lower west, Dek. Near the home duggout. There was an audible 'ooooh' from the mesters around me, as he blasted the ball out of play and square into my mush.
To be fair to Stewart, he kept on coming over to see if I was okay, even in the 2nd half when he was on the other wing.
