We drew at Stoke who had won 5 on the bounce ,who then beat top of the league WBA.
Our performance at Stoke was better than some on here made out, point won rather than points dropped.
We need to start winning, to get the pressure off our young team.

You can feel the strain in Cauley’s interview on club website - a win would mean everything to him

He is our senior player, captain and top scorer.
I'm sure he is under some sort of pressure,he is a very very good pro and a fantastic role model for our younger players.
I don't know why he gets as much stick on here as he does .

He has played over a hundred games for us and does genuinely seem settled.
I know that if a club offered to double/ treble his wage, then he’d be off but he signed a contract extension without delay.

By the way, his goals to games ratio is better than Winnall, Ward and Payton so I think he’s entitled to “ low scoring” periods.
I like the lads persona !
Mind you, I remember saying that about Sammy !!!!

Don't think Woodrow would get a game mate

I think he would under Val, he rotates strikers all the time, he used 4 last night & they all failed to notch & I think that Val will look to strengthen in january to aid his push towards the promotion finishing line & he knows & trusts Woodrow to score at this level .

Am not so sure he’ll be in for Woodrow, with the budget he’ll have. He’ll want a target man to play in the middle of the three and I’m not sure Woodrow would be top of his list for one of the wider roles.

Styles and Helik on the other hand…

I thought he was poor last night, never got to grips with the game and neither did WBA. Does it mean I don’t rate him? No.

On reflection let me apologise - bit of a childish response.
However - I don’t apologise for admiring Mowatt.
