Have to agree with you. Hull looked as if they had a tactic of making fouls outside shooting distance. As soon as we looked like getting into the final 3rd they were committing cynical fouls. Not dirty or dangerous but lots of annoying trips and pulls. Ref let them get away with it. Should have booked a couple of them for persistent fouling. Lad who swiped at Leon could have gone. Thought Fozzy got away with one though.

Thought he got most of the decisions right

Apart from the one where Foster took their man clean out of the game, but he let it go. He just left his cards at home. I'd prefer to see that than cards dished out all over the place.

Thought he was average at best. Hull's defenders held and pulled shirts all game but as the ref let them get away with it did it all the more.

The Foster body check? I would have been proud of that when I'm playing Ice Hockey!!! Should have been a yellow and a free kick on the edge of the box. Was it a not given because he thought he'd made a mistake on the penalty?

As for the penalty. How the ref could see that Souza didnt make contact from his position I have no idea? Out of all the camera angles (one of which was the same veiw of the ref) there was only one that showed that Denis just missed the ball. Thought Campbell played for it though. But what was Souza thinking!!!
I thought the whole defence had an off day, which is unusual. Maybe a few tired legs as the squad is looking a little thin at the moment with Anderson, Howard and Devaney injured.

On a side note I thought Coulson did ok when he came on.
