Ah..OK. I dont suppose you were in Full House that night he said hed rather play at Wembley than keep reds up?
I retract that statement!! OJ is now testing my patience, and being sat next to thee down that takes some doing!! At the end of the day, none are and we all know who is to blame. 1 man
Yes Mr Shone, i can remember you texting me that comment I think that could have been the moment that stopped him being my hero
Agreed. Apologies for my behaviour by the way.....very pissed....needed to do it after missing Blackpool and perhaps may have gone over top ever so slightly. I still stick by my opinion tho. I felt that BH took ALL the stick that day for THE TEAM being ****. Everything that dint happen, you lot hammered one man. I felt it was too much and I flipped. I WILL NEVER DRINK B4 A MATCH AGAIN...........till Setdy.
Well stop reading it. Does D/T stand for Dumb Tyke? or is it Dull Tone...................zzzzzzzzzzzz
Lol. Yeah of course Brian didnt! How did that interview on the blades website get there? From his front room?
two yoghurt pots and some string. You'd have thought that with a 'gagging order' in the terms of sale old Brian would be less than happy with his relative spouting off on a forum. Wouldnt you?
Why? He's not saying anything, its all my opinions. Anyway bore off now. Do you know that everytime i open one of your comment I groan with boredom. Other posts are usually interesting if they like Brian or Hate him. Yours are mind numbingly boring with no substance. So do yourself a favour mate
I for one believe the 'truth will out' eventualy I think the whole 'deal' is not as we are being told. My guess is there has been a bust up with the management staff and Howie has been the centre of this, but the problem is more widespread than just him. It has been a case of. Well we think he is worth 10 million but get him out at any price. You only need to read between the lines of the statement, that, it was in the interest of all parties he left the club.
24 hours later you post this - </p> http://www.barnsleyfc.org.uk/bbs/forums/thread-view.asp?tid=122033&mid=807346#M807346</p> He should have offered a new contract at the end of last season. He wasnt. BFC seemed to believe the paper talk that they were going to make millions from him. Obviously this didnt materialise cos noone is going to pay this much for someone in the last year of their contract! Once they realised they werent going to make millions they panicked and offered Brian a contract. By this time he felt unwanted and was unsettled and he knew he could double/triple his wages elsewhere. If BFC had offered him a contract that he was worth at the end of last season instead of trying to cash in on him and also made the signings they promised to match his ambition, then maybe you would still have your captain This is the story in a nutshell.</p> Our club tried to bring in some much needed revenue out of bringing a player from nowhere to the spotlight and he "felt unwanted and unsettled and knew he could double/triple his wages elsewhere."</p> Jesus Christ, and you're trying to defend him? You don't think that's just a tad spoilt and ungrateful? Thousands a week, straightout of the pockets of hard working fans, and he can't be bothered to play because he feels unwanted? And don't try to tell us the alarming dip in form was a coincidence. He needs to take a long look at himself.</p> </p>
