The point in question is not how he affords to go. It's that he constantly flogs the fact he's barely missed a game in order to belittle the views of those who don't go as often. I used to go to nearly every game. Nowadays, like most, time and money constraints dictate I can't. That doesn't make my views or anyone else's less valid.
I agree but I think the two go hand in hand. He thinks he is better than the rest of us because he goes to more games but he refuses to realise there are reasons WHY he goes to more games. He is so far detached from the real world that he has no idea of the realities of being an adult or the commitments and sacrifices that come with it. Until he grows up and learns these things he will continue to make his arrogant comments. That is why people constantly remind him that he is extremely lucky to do what he does.
Your attendance is commendable. I used to be able to go to loads of games. But that was before houses, kids and real life. Please understand this is why some folk get narked at your holier than tho attitude as you are LUCKY enough to be able to attend as many as you.
I'm lucky to go to games. I'm lucky I support a team that I can do this with. Sayintg that this thread was defending those that don't go to games much
I went yesterday and Bree had an absolute shocker, giving the ball away time and time again. I know everyone is entitled to an opinion but I have no idea how anyone could possibly say that he was one of the best in that match. I know that he's usually better than that so I'm not going to hold it against him or anything but to say he was one of the best yesterday is completely false.
I like Bree. He's not a world beater (yet), he's a talented kid. He made some runs, as you observe. He's a fit lad and could run up and down all day. Fact is though, yesterday he could have run until MOTD came on but he'd still have been hitting a brick wall every time. Appalling decision making. Most had an off day. Thankfully Adam didn't. Is James Bree a first year pro? Didn't he play for us last season too? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
He was still available to the academy last year. Think he played in the youth cup at Doncaster. http://www.doncasterroversfc.co.uk/news/article/-u18-report-rovers-2-1-barnsley-aet-2757987.aspx
Isn't Bree out of contract too at the end of June? Although couldn't we get compensated if he moved as he's come through our academy/age under 24 is something?
Why would anyone want to start a thread about the football yesterday? It was largely a forgettable game. Nothing really to praise, and similarly nothing to get too down about. I fully expected to see threads about some of our fans, but would have thought most fans would just take yesterday on the chin, just like Liverpool had to do today. If this is aimed at me then yeah when he comes on this forum acting a lovely person I will question and show an interest in how 'he' pays to watch BFC espcially when constantly rubbing people's noses in it! He makes out like he's a better fan than everyone else by going on about how many games he's attended this season, the lad doesn't live in he real world!
