I am sorry to cause you offence. This was as not my intention. My post was the punch line to a very old joke.

As I am boycotting the Winter Olympics, I do not know what this young lady looked like until she was featured on the news yesterday evening.

It’s not about causing me offence or what she looks like. It’s that you’re joking about a child’s vagina and breasts.

I do not think I was specifically. I was recalling a very old joke which on reflection could offend some people.

Black American athlete who was banned for a month and missed the summer olympics due to cannabis being found in her system has spoken out and accused the IOC of double standards - and racism. She has a point tbh, cannabis is a less serious offence then the drugs found in the skaters system as it’s not performance enhancing.

But you applied it to a little girl.

No doubt that wasn't your intention, but that's where a little bit of thought before clicking "post reply" comes in handy.

Just to put it into context...it was an old joke from the american comedienne Phyllis Diller....although I agree, not the most appropriate time to use it.

I know. I’d never dream of saying it about a child though.

Did she make that joke while referring to 15 year old girls?

If that is the case she should have had a TUE. The rules on them are quite clear. I have the UKAD Clean Sport Advisor Certificate. https://www.wada-ama.org/en/athletes-support-personnel/therapeutic-use-exemptions

Mmm no one commenting on this today. Bit surprising that with some of the outrage expressed previously. Still probably different when it’s a Briton.
