    Because throwing money at something without ensuring the correct management controls are in place leads to the money not going where it should - hence chief execs of PCT's and Hospital Trusts on £140k pa and more.

    what a fantastic point, pour money into management consultants, focus groups and press officers. I know they have spent money on hospitals as well but the perceived waste is a problem.

    No wonder she said that "Britain would be safe with Tony Blair" when he was appointed Prime Minister

    He's carrying on where she left off. New Labour have been an utter disgrace. I'll never vote Tory though.
