    The media so wanted Derby County to stay up last season. Plus its love of Wayne Rooney.

    Because of this they often turned a blind eye to the financial side of the Rams. Wycombe were cheated yet the media doesnt care.


    How soon is now Derby County?

    The Conservative MP who met representatives of Mike Ashley over his bid to buy Derby County plans to contact previous bidders to help rescue the Rams.

    Andrew Bridgen, who is the Tory MP for north-west Leicestershire, says it was "disappointing" to learn that Chris Kirchner's takeover has been plunged into doubt.
