One of the reasons I haven't renewed my S/T. The club are alienating me more and more .... after 55 years.
Exactly and nothing they have said they will actually improve upon is evident in how we operate either. I’m sure they will keep sending me an email reminding me that I haven’t renewed and it’s stuff like this that is part of the reason why.
Admittedly, it's not a good look when we can't persuade a former fan favourite head coach to give up the German fourth tier to return to Oakwell. What now?
I've heard the Matchday Experience is to be enhanced however with the Board forming a new Band (Wrong Direction), Catering and Entertainment Vocals: Neerav Parekh Backing Vocals: Jean Cryne Drums: Julie Anne Quay Keyboard: James Cryne Breads: Jon Flatman Luncheons: Robert Zuk Puppet Show: Mladen Sormaz
Hardly surprising is it, until things change we’ll just stagnate in this division, or worse, the league below.
I love the old "I'm told" get out clause. If it turns out to be true I'm brilliant, if not it wasn't actually me that said it.
Wow,it appears they are slowly killing the club.No ambition and candidates can see straight through it.I wish they would stop with this control and leave it to the coach to identify his players.I'm afraid at this rate it will be a steady 7000 at Oakwell next season if they are lucky.
I reckon we ought to try a bloke called Neill Collins. Just led his team to the League One Playoffs in his first season as gaffer in England, after doing well in USA. Maybe he'll attract a few American players to come over - I've heard there's a centre back called Pines who's pretty good. John Stead might be decent as an assistant. Knows where the net is, so might be able to help improve Cole and point him towards his most successful season. Maybe Devaney could stay on too - he knows the club and could work with offensive midfielders like Kane who could score more goals, then a young loanee like McAtee or someone? Hopefully we'll give Collins a bit of time, as we don't want to be in a position of panic, with a large player turnover and managerial uncertainty. I'm sure the Board will get it right.
Sacking a manager with team in playoffs, a week before playoffs. Doesn't look good. Not unusual for a team to sack a manager after a failed play off campaign. But to sack before it was absolutely barmy. Did they even think of the implications of us not winning the playoffs and how it would make us look to potential managers.
One has to remember that our current board were involved with the people that hung him out to dry before.
